We only had two anglers for our first
tournament on Moses Lake
Saturday saw sun and mild winds with
temperatures at freezing in the morning
then in the lower 60's for the weigh
in. Water temps ranged
from 55 to 58 degrees. We were
scheduled to Launch out of Connelly
Park. The Web said it opened at
5:30 am but the sign at the entrance
said it would not open till 6:00 am,
so we headed over to to Cascade
Park. It was closed because of
Boat Races. So we finally launched
out of Blue Heron. We only had
two Anglers. Because we
only had two anglers we decided to
make this a one day tournament rather
than two days. All of the fish
caught were on tubes in 10 - 20
feet. Congratulations to
Paul Jones. The next two club
tournaments are on Banks Lake in July
and August. |
